What RdPod is
RdPod is a research tool for Etsy sellers, built first for print-on-demand shops: sellers who design shirts, mugs, posters and other products that a print partner makes to order. It helps with the decision that comes before all the work, which is what to design next, and with the details that decide whether a listing is found: its timing, its tags and its title.
RdPod is a web app at app.rdpod.io with a companion Chrome extension. The app’s main areas are the Trend Radar for early waves, Search Volume for measured buyer searches, Keywords and the tag audit, an occasion calendar, the Market with rankings and new listings, and Shops with shop groups. It is available in English, Vietnamese, German and French, with light and dark themes.
How the measurements work
RdPod records public market data on a recurring schedule: listings, shops, favorites and search phrases. Four rules shape how that data is shown:
- Every number has a date. You can always see how fresh a figure is, and coverage and freshness vary by feature.
- Estimates are labelled. When a figure is estimated rather than measured, it says so.
- Missing stays missing. When a measurement does not exist, the cell is blank. A gap is never filled with a guess, and a missing number is never shown as zero.
- Search data is never mixed with listing counts. Buyer searches and seller listings are different evidence and are shown apart.
What RdPod does not do
- It is read-only. It never posts, edits or buys anything on your Etsy account.
- It does not use Etsy’s official developer API.
- It does not sell your data. Account information is used to run and secure the service; the privacy policy has the details.
- It cannot guarantee sales or predict results. It organizes measured signals so your decisions rest on evidence; the decision stays yours.
Plans and payment
There is a Free plan, and three paid plans for deeper research; the pricing section lists what each includes. Online payment is not open yet: paid plans are activated by the RdPod team, who can also change or end a plan on request.
Free tools on this site
Some research needs no account at all. The Etsy fee calculator and the listing checker run entirely in your browser, and the 2027 seasonal calendar lists the post-by dates and hard deadlines for the main occasions of the year.
